Brian Cody is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art. He has divided his career into two unequal halves; one as a corporate marketing person, and the other working in the arts, be it children’s book illustration or fine art. He and his wife have brought up two kids in Ipswich, living in town for over 25 years and they have spent much of their free time wandering the area’s assorted beaches and Trustee Reservations. He enjoys capturing the odd, little seacoast vignettes, the type he might normally pass by were he not looking so hard for them. The paintings pictured here are part of his Curious Seacoasts series, belonging to his larger overall collection of Curious Paintings.
